Presenters:

Gita Zareikar, Evaluation Analyst, Natural Resources Canada
Gita Zareikar, PhD, DPE, started her collaboration with CES-NCC as a volunteer for the Essential Skills Series and an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors in 2022. She brings over 15 years of experience from academia and the non-profit sector where she did research, teaching and led socio-economic projects. Her journey in evaluation started in 2020 through collaboration with evaluation teams where she developed an interest to pursue a career in evaluation. She now works as an evaluator at Natural Resources Canada.

Sara Mitchell, Consultant Manager, Goss Gilroy Inc.
Sara Mitchell is a Consultant Manager with Goss Gilroy Inc, where she conducts evaluations for federal and provincial government, as well as community-based organizations. She is an experienced qualitative researcher who undertakes work in a range of areas, including education, health and with official language minority communities. Sara holds a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Ottawa. She began volunteering with CES-NCC’s REDIAS Committee in 2023 and hopes that the group’s EDI work will help to make the broader evaluation space an accessible, equitable and inclusive one.
