New Board portfolio focussed on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability

The CES-NCC Board is excited to announce the creation of a new Board portfolio focussed on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) and Sustainability. Over the coming months, the Board hopes to develop a variety of initiatives that will support EDI and Sustainability ideals including offering EDI professional development opportunities, finding ways to reduce the environmental impact associated with our events, and developing an EDI and Sustainability commitment.

The Board is particularly excited to announce the creation of a new EDI Fund. Open to individuals who are from underrepresented groups or sectors, the Fund will help to cover costs associated with participating in CES-NCC professional development events including training sessions, webinars, and the essential skills series. More information about the Fund is available on the Fund’s application form.

The Fund is a pilot initiative of the Board and may be altered following feedback from our members.
