At CES-NCC, we are deeply committed to fostering equity, diversity, inclusion (EDI), and accessibility, while also prioritizing environmental sustainability in everything we do. These principles guide our approach to all activities, events, and initiatives, ensuring they are welcoming, inclusive, and impactful for everyone in our community.
To strengthen and align our efforts, we actively collaborate with the CES national EDI & Environmental Sustainability (EDI&ES) Committee. We strive to develop meaningful strategies that uphold these values in measurable and sustainable ways.
In addition, we recognize the importance of reconciliation with Indigenous communities and are committed to embedding active reconciliation as a guiding principle in all our activities. This commitment ensures that our work reflects respect, understanding, and meaningful action towards Indigenous Peoples and their knowledge systems.
The Learning Opportunity Fund, created in 2001, aims at removing financial barriers for professional development. For more details on how to apply and eligibility requirements, please click here.
