CES-NCC Workshop: How to prepare your CES 2020 Conference Proposal

The C2020 proposal period is now open and the deadline to submit is fast approaching!

The annual CES conference provides the perfect opportunity to share yours insights with colleagues, and interact with the evaluation community from Canada and beyond. Want to contribute to the conference’s program on evaluation utilization? Wondering about the different presentation formats? Searching for tips on how to prepare a winning proposal?
Looking to brainstorm and receive feedback on your presentation, workshop, or thematic breakfast idea? This workshop is for you!
C2020 co-chair and evaluation conference veteran Benoît Gauthier, as well as workshop committee co-lead Cindy Weeks, will share their wisdom on how to compose an excellent proposal. Attendees will then have the opportunity to discuss proposal ideas with fellow participants.
Registration is free, but required. Space is limited, so if you register and cannot attend, please notify the organizers.
Date : Wednesday November 20, 2019. Doors open at 5pm, workshop begins at 5.30pm, followed by discussions and networking at 6pm.

Workshop for Emerging Evaluators: Choose You Own Evaluation Adventure!

Come and collaborate with other Emerging Evaluators to choose your own evaluation adventure! Popular vote will decide how to resolve challenges in a fictional evaluation project. This workshop will be a fun and interactive opportunity to explore different ways of responding to common evaluation issues, and to discuss how the choices we make shape the evaluations we do! Food and beverages will be provided. Registration is free, but required. Space is limited, so if you register and cannot attend, please notify the organizers. Bring your phone!

National Capital Chapter Holiday Get-Together

Who can believe that we have already gotten our first snow of the season? While it means lots of shovelling, it also means that its closer to the holiday season and spending time with colleagues.
