The University of Ottawa’s Centre on Governance (Centre d’études en gouvernance) works to deepen understanding of governance phenomena and contemporary challenges facing governmental and non-governmental organizations. To fulfill this mission, the Centre produces, mobilizes, and disseminates knowledge through both fundamental and applied research, improving organizational effectiveness and strengthening public policy design and implementation. The Centre comprises approximately fifty professors, affiliated researchers, and students conducting research aligned with its core research themes: Public Management and Governance, Cultural Policy, Urban and Territorial Governance, Social Policy, Federalism and Multi-Level Governance, and Indigenous Governance. |

Our online graduate diploma equips learners with the technical and analytical skills needed to assess the effectiveness, impact, and value of public programs. Students gain hands-on experience using social science research tools, while also building the people skills essential for navigating diverse stakeholder needs, asking the right questions, and managing collaborative evaluation processes.
Delivered entirely online, the DPPE allows working professionals to advance their careers in government, non-profits, consulting, and international development without relocating to the National Capital Region. |

Le Centre de recherche sur les services éducatifs et communautaires (CRSEC) travaille en partenariat avec des organismes et des chercheurs des secteurs de l’éducation, des services sociaux et de la santé afin de développer, mobiliser et partager des activités de recherche visant à renforcer les politiques et programmes destinés aux communautés vulnérables. Le CRSEC donne la priorité à l’inclusion sociale, en se concentrant sur la recherche appliquée, l’évaluation et la formation.

PRA is an independent research firm with strong roots in Ottawa and Winnipeg. It has a professional and technical team of experienced specialists, including 30 full-time and 75 part-time, casual staff. For over 30 years, PRA has provided client focused services, including program evaluation and market research. At PRA, we are proud of the many ways in which we give back to the evaluation community in the National Capital Region, including our longstanding sponsorship of the ALE, our regular facilitation of the Essential Skills Series for new evaluators, and ongoing mentorship provided to aspiring Credentialed Evaluators.
