CES NCC Members’ Needs Assessment

In 2009 the CES NCC Board contracted Circum Network Inc. to provide the Board with updated information on the professional needs of our members so that it could inform the development of CES NCC member service strategies. In May 2010, the report was presented to the Board. Thanks to your input, we now have very relevant and up to date information to inform our upcoming strategic planning process set for June 2010. I encourage you to review the report and provide me or any other members of the Board with your feedback! Email us at nccsecretariat@evaluationcanada.ca.

The University of Ottawa team, led by Dr. Brad Cousins, were the excited winners of the Annual Student Case Competition held during the Annual National CES Conference in Victoria. A warm congratulations to CES NCC members Eugenia Didenko, Sharon Margison, Deniz Paktunck and Kathryn Radford whose workplan and presentation to evaluate the Olympic Torch Relay Initiative won the judges’ votes.

She is now a distinguished member of a group of 23 evaluators across Canada who have received this award in the past 30 years.
