Dr. Harry Cummings is President of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), and the Director of HCA. Harry has supervised over 120 graduate students and teaches graduate courses in Regional Economics, Program Evaluation, Community Economic Development and Research Methods. As CES President, Harry has called for an examination of CES ethical guidelines for a potential update. Reserve your seat to hear his views on why this is a high priority for CES.

Dr. Émilie Peter is a recipient of the Joseph-Armand-Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship (SSHRC, 2013). She recently completed her PH.D in Public Administration at the École nationale d’administration publique (ÉNAP). Her doctoral research focuses on evaluators’ perceptions, acceptance and implementation of new ethical standards in evaluation. Dr. Peter has contributed to client evaluations for UN Women, UNESCO, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the Caribbean Development Bank, and Global Affairs Canada. Come hear Dr. Peter speak evaluation ethical standards and challenges, as well as respecting stakeholders’ rights during design and implementation of an evaluation.
